First Presbyterian Church of Lafayette

A Place to Experience, Explore, and Express the Love of God

FPC Welcomes Eric Wowoh

Eric Wowoh is the Executive Director of Change Agent Network, a local non-profit that seeks to "develop and nourish a global network of like-minded individuals and organizations committed to facilitating positive change in our world."

Presently the C.A.N. is working to combat Ebola in Liberia, although they have previously worked to distribute used computers as a means of developing and supporting schools in Liberia.

F.P.C. will partner with C.A.N. over the next two weeks (October 6-19) to collect gallons of bleach to distribute in Liberia. Bring your donation to 1130 Johnston St on Sunday mornings or M-F 8:30a-12:30p.

Click here to read more about the faith of this amazing man who was beaten and left for dead as a child of the Liberian Civil War. Better still, come meet him and hear his story for yourself this Sunday, October 5 in worship at 11:00 a.m.

Click here to donate to the Peace and Global Witness Offering (25% will go directly to C.A.N. 75% will support initiatives through the PCUSA such as the Self Development of People).
