On Thursday, March 15 2018, The Extra Mile recognized First Presbyterian Church as Community Volunteer of the Year for 2017! This award was given in recognition for our work with Flood Recovery, Emergency Freeze Sheltering, Adoption of Families for Christmas, collecting diapers and clothes for them, and hosting their parent development program. The Extra Mile definitely goes the distance for those in need, and we are honored to be recognized for our contributions as well!

U.C.O. PEANUT BUTTER

How do we spread 180 jars of peanut butter? When we all remember to bring one jar of peanut butter to church on the first Sunday of each month we accomplish a lot. Our Church brought 180 jars of peanut butter and 29 jars of jam to United Christian Outreach in 2017.  Thanks to all of you, we were able to feed families struggling to have nutritional food in their diet. To date we have delivered 12 jars. Help us feed more of the hungry in 2018.
